Three- Month Journey: the Beginning

It has been a crazy time since I last posted on this blog. Since then, I have taken part in a gruelling sports event hosted by Diguna Mbagathi, applied for and received a three-month visa to Germany and flown out of the country. I landed in Frankfurt on the morning of 9th April, to a wet and cold welcome, so was the weather. The normally reliable Swissair uncharacteristically misplaced my luggage but later traced it and delivered it to me, intact. I have been to the student-filled and scenic Marburg, the laid-back and beautiful Osthofen (near Worms), the Kibogo-inhabited Siegburg and am now in colourful Soest.

There are still many stops on my visit here but since I arrived in Soest, I intend to enjoy every minute here. Sometimes the weather behaves like a Kenyan politician, predicting one thing and doing the opposite. There are a number of ministries lined up for this week and I look forward to each one. I will be sharing my testimony, my work and my music with different groups of people and I believe it will be fun all the way (and sometimes serious).

Reading the Bible  hasn't been easy though. I find myself with more questions than answers and so I realize that God really wants me to have faith. I desire quick responses to my questions and prayer requests, but I know that those who see everything have no need of faith. I trust God to see me through and to make the deepest and most hidden desires of my heart come to pass. It's not easy having to wait for good things to happen in your life, but once you get them, everything is worth the wait. Trust God.
