We had an awesome
time at the Diguna Open Camp 2011 and my group had kids with ages 12 to 15
years. We discussed various topics and listed below are some of their thoughts
on how to become a more responsible person.
- Do whatever task you have to do as if you are doing it for God.
- Do your tasks voluntarily and give your best.
- Be focused on the task at hand and stick to it.
- Seek guidance whenever you have a problem.
- Be on time.
- Be able to work with little or no supervision.
- Manage the specified time you have well.
- Show commitment and determination in whatever you are doing.
- Be humble and obedient.
- Work hard and refrain from self-praise. Wait for others to praise you.
- Improve on the things that you know you can do.
- Be tolerant with people you are working with.
- Perform duties that others around you don’t consider important.
- Enjoy your task.
- Do your work whole-heartedly.
- Be creative.
- Have self-drive.
- Cultivate interest in the task given.
- Be reliable.
- Don’t complain when given a task.
- Don’t think about the payment for the work being done.
- Do what you can.
- Do it as an exercise that is beneficial to all.
- Know that you will be judged by what you do.
- Be serious in everything you do.
